The
Many Faces of Conflict and Responding to Complaints
Sepler &
Associates' newest and most extensive program in the harassment prevention
line, this program immerses participants in the nature of conflict, particularly
conflict that arises from culture or gender differences, and helps them
to recognize the early signs of interpersonal conflict and strategies
for intervening and addressing them. Inclusive of the content of Invisible
Line and First Responder programs, this program follows an interpersonal
conflict from the very beginning through an actual complaint of harassment.
Along the way, participants identify and practice listening skills, interest
based analysis of conflicts, strategies for respectful inquiry and getting
employees to talk about problems early. A very hands-on program that can
change relationships in an organization.
Length: 12
training hours, or 1.5 days
"Our
phones keep ringing with praise for your program. Our global employee
group was amazed by their level of skill acquisition and how useful everything
was. Several went back to their home offices and dove right into problems
that had been plaguing them for a long time. We especially appreciated
learning how "whiners" are created, and how to spot a situation
early. We can't wait until you come back and present this to our partners."
